Krystle Colon, Dance Instructor
As a former member of the MegLouise Dance Company, Krystle started dancing later than average. After making her school’s dance team Ms. Colon continued to work extensively to grow her repertoire and joined a local studio for further training alongside Jess Widener. Together they studied in Jazz, Ballet, Pom, and Hip-Hop. Dance is now what she considers to be her heart and soul. Krystle studied at Bowling Green State University taking Ballet, Jazz, and Modern dance. Modern dance is her favorite because it comes from the heart and it can be anything you want it to be. Furthering her education, Krystle went to school at Ohio Center for Broadcasting and obtained her Communications/Broadcasting License. She is currently employed by iHeart Media as the Assistant Promotions Director and an instructor with MovementWorks Dance and Fitness. Starting as a teen knowing nothing about dance other than that which she did through cheer, it was her determination and strength that allowed her to develop into the beautiful professional performer and instructor that she is today. Ms. Colon feels that dance has helped her in everyday life with being confident, dedicated, and open to new things. She enjoys passing along knowledge of this art to others and expand other young minds by story-telling through movement!
